Biscotti a Stella di Natale - Poinsettia cookies


 
Pensando ai biscotti da regalare a Natale.....
Wondering about cookies as a  gift for Christmas....


Ingredienti: (dose per crica 10-12 biscotti)
400 gr. di farina 00
200 gr. di burro morbido
100 gr. di zucchero
1 uovo medio
aroma a scelta
1 pizzico di sale
colorante in polvere rosso e verde
cioccolato bianco fuso q.b.

 
Preparazione:
  • Mettere il burro, lo zucchero, l'uovo e l'aroma (io arancia) nella planetaria e amalgamare. Aggiungere la farina ed il sale. 
  • Quando l'impasto si sarà appallottolato dividere l'impasto in 2/3 e  1/3. 
  • Rimettere i 2/3 dell'impasto nella planetaria ed aggiungere il colorante in polvere rosso poco alla volta fino ad ottenere il colore desiderato. 
  • Togliere dal 1/3 dell'impasto una nocciolina e mettere l'impasto più grande (quasi 1/3) nella planetaria ed aggiungere il colorante in polvere verde poco alla volta fino ad ottenere il colore desiderato. 
  • Avvolgere gli impasti in pellicola e conservare in frigorifero per almeno mezz'ora prima di utilizzarli.
  • Realizzate per ogni biscotto:
    • 5 foglie "grandi" (3 cm di lunghezza) rosse altezza 3mm
    • 5 foglie "piccole" (2 cm di lunghezza) rosse altezza 3mm
    • 4- 5 palline minuscole di frolla non colorata
    • 5 foglie "grandi" (3 cm di lunghezza) verdi, altezza 3mm
    • 3 palline verdi da posizionare al centro sotto ogni corona di 5 foglie (1/2 cm).
  • Disponete le foglie in questo modo sopra le palline verdi:

  • Infornare a 170° C statico per 7 minuti.
  • Lasciare raffreddare completamente.
  • fondere il cioccolato bianco, metterne un po' al centro della corona di foglie verde e sovrapporre "disallineata"la corona grande di foglie  rosse. Mettere un pò di cioccolato fuso al centro della 
    corona grande rossa e sovrapporre "disallineata"la corona piccola di foglie rosse.

English version
Ingredients: (for 10-12 cookies)
400 gr. of flour
200 gr. of soft butter
100 gr. of sugar
1 medium egg
aroma (your choice)
1 pinch of salt
red and green food coloring powder
melted white chocolate q.s.

Directions:
  • Put the butter, sugar, egg and aroma (I used orange taste) in the mixer and mix. Add the flour and salt.
  • When the dough has rolled up, divide the dough into 2/3 and 1/3.
  • Put 2/3 of the dough back into the mixer and add the red coloring powder little by little until the desired color is obtained.
  • Remove a peanut from 1/3 of the dough and put the largest dough (almost 1/3) in the mixer and add the green coloring powder little by little until the desired color is obtained.
  • Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for at least half an hour before using them.
  • How to proceed for each cookie, make:
    • 5 "big" leaves (3 cm long) red, 3mm high
    • 5 "small" leaves (2 cm long) red,  3mm high
    • 4- 5 tiny balls of non-colored shortcrust pastry
    • 5 "large" (3cm long) green leaves, 3mm high
    • 3 green balls to be placed in the center under each crown of 5 leaves (1/2 cm).
  • Arrange the leaves as shown in the picture on top of the green balls:

  • Bake at static 170 ° C for 7 minutes.
  • Leave to cool completely.
  • melt the white chocolate, place a little bit in the center of the green leaf crown and overlap the large red leaf crown "misaligned". Place a little melted chocolate in the center of the large red crown and overlap the small crown of red leaves "misaligned".
